Sunday June 25th ...continued |

Then I got persuaded by a rickshaw driver to take a tour with him. He gave me a price which seemed reasonable, so I climbed on. His tour turned out to be mostly of shops, but he did go down some alleys and I got some pictures of some colourful doorways that I would not otherwise have seen. |

I also saw this rather nice building topped with a cupola; and these potted plants surrounding an archway through into another alley or property. |

I must also share with you this Delhi-style traffic jam. The 3-wheeled taxi is coming one way and the motorscooter is going the other way, and there is so little room that not even a motorscooter can pass. The ensuing discussion looks pretty friendly, and it all got sorted out in the end. |

Some of the shops the rickshaw driver took me to did manage to part me from some of my money, as I acquired two tops (which don't fit as I've put weight on!) and a pair of small pendants which I've mounted on earring backs, and which I'm very pleased with. |
