Sunday June 25th ...continued |

The rickshaw ride also took me by the largest mosque in Delhi. |
I've included this picture showing the street leading up to the Mosque. It shows street space being shared by white vans, rickshaws and an Austin Ambassador in Delhi taxi livery. |

Its domes had huge numbers of birds on them. |
There were a great many minarets, and if you look closely at the picture on the left of the line below here, you will see that one minaret had a great many people in it. |
I was tempted to employ PhotoShop on the right of these two pictures, as one of the three birds approaching the minaret didn't have its wings at full flap! |

Here's a slightly different variation: a squared dome support rather than a minaret. |

The rickshaw ride took longer than I was originally quoted for and the price went up considerably, but I managed to get it down nearly to a level that I was happy about. The rickshaw driver would have loved to have got his hands on some Dollars or some Sterling, but I wasn’t carrying any. In fact, he would have liked considerably more Sterling than I ended up paying him in Rupees. |
