Helen Stephenson's Christmas Pictures, Biggin Hill, December 2008

This page contains clickable images.

After taking Jessie home on Christmas Day, we made our way home again via Biggin Hill, where we stopped to look at the Harris HospisCare shop's Christmas window. They have a good window dresser who always makes a special effort at Christmas time and it was worth stopping to admire.

These pictures were captured using a Pentax K10D digital SLR camera.

Here is the shop window in its entirety. Creative use of donated material results in a very attractive and festive window.

The big toy soldier, the snowman, and of course, Santa, were the highlights within the window.

This year's Christmas lighting in Biggin Hill was a uniform light with a red border containing white stars. To add interest to the display, the lights blinked in different ways. Here I have captured one of the lights when the whole star pattern was lit.
