Tonbridge is a pleasant town in west Kent. It is not to be confused with its near neighbour Tunbridge Wells!
These pictures were taken using a Pentax *ist DS digital SLR camera.

Stephen's Mum had an appointment at the hospital at Tunbridge Wells, and after she was finished there, we took her into Tonbridge for a look at the shops there. We also took a stroll up the High Street, which is where these pictures were taken. These views looking to the east along the Medway were taken from the bridge which the High Street passes over. |

When we walked back over the bridge later on, a swan went by on the Medway, followed by two cygnets. I've included three pictures of the swan, but my favourite is the one in the middle. |

I snapped both cygnets, but in the end, I only selected one cygnet picture. The cygnets continually called to their parent as they swam along the Medway. |

I enjoyed the lamp posts with their intricate ironwork. I must have photographed these just as the switch was turned on for the evening as I've got one unlit and one lit. |

I know someone who loves teddy bears, so I photographed this shop window with her in mind. |
