Jessie lives not far from Biggin Hill, and hears some of the display planes flying overhead during the Biggin Hill Air Fair. Stephen and I went to the Air Fair one day and here are pictures of the barnstorming biplanes and the Red Arrows.

Jessie loves flowers. Page 2 contains a rose and a budleia from our garden at Chislehurst, while page 3 contains two different budleias from Jessie's own garden, including a spectacular red-purple one that is a bit out of the ordinary.

Hall Place is somewhere that we haven't taken Jessie yet. Their spring display of heather makes a refreshing change from the bulb displays which are so common in the spring, and we really must get Jessie to this place. The grounds are wheelchair friendly, so she should be able to see most of the displays. In addition to the spring heather, I've included a summer infrared picture, a greylag goose with goslings, and a couple of the many rose blooms to be seen during the summer.

Stephen and I spent a week in Yorkshire in October, so I've included a few of our holiday snaps: Gouthwaite Reservoir, Nidderdale; Masham Moor; Janet's Foss Waterfall, Malham; and the Middle Falls at Aysgarth.

We took Jessie to Brighton for a day out at the seaside in 2007. Across the top of these pages are pictures of the seafront as viewed from the Pier; and a lamp post in all its splendour from a bygone era. The bottom of these pages contains a few more pictures from our autumn holiday: two interior views from Ripon Cathedral; and the Grocer's shop at the Town in the Beamish Museum, County Durham. We think that this might bring back memories for Jessie of how shopping used to be in the days before supermarkets. Even I, at 52, can just remember when shops were like this!

We took Jessie into the SeaLife Centre at Brighton to view the aquarium, as Jessie loves fish. The photography inside was a bit hit and miss, but I got a few pictures worth including in this album.

I've included a couple of my better fireworks pictures from 2007.

Stephen and I went to the Working Bygones Show, and each took a photograph of the other holding one of the owls brought along to the show by a bird exhibitor. Stephen chose Ace, while I simply had to have Horace in honour of my Father! On page 15 is a portrait of Stephen taken on the day we unpacked our new digital SLR cameras. I think Stephen was making a wicked remark when I took this.

I've finished off with a couple more images which hark back to earlier times. A Massey Ferguson tractor is towing a binder which is producing sheaves of hay at the Working Bygones Show; and a Showman's Tractor is on display at the Wrotham Steam and Vintage Classic Show.
