Monday July 3rd |

I got up on Monday morning and was so tired that I realised that Ashima was right. I think that the heat had really got to me the day before, and I’d also picked up a touch of the Delhi belly, so I phoned the office and told them I wouldn’t be in and I went back to bed and slept for most of the day. |

I was back in the office and continued to present training sessions. Another of my London colleagues had arrived over the weekend and was also there. We arranged to have a joint training session the next day, as some of the material I was going to present was of interest to her audience as well. |

The joint training session took place in the big conference room. Once I started to get technical, the testing people left the session and I just continued with Neha and Chandan, who appeared to be impressed with how much you could find out by looking at the journals on an iSeries. |

Thursday July 6th |

My last day in the office in India! I wrapped up the training and handed back the laptop at the end of the day. Much to my surprise, there was a little presentation and I received a wooden jewellery box, two carved ducks, and a bell like you see in the temples. |
