The village contains shops which are in keeping with the early and middle parts of the 20th Century, and the products for sale are often from that period. Where the sweet shop gets sweets that aren't pre-wrapped from, I don't know, but it does! I was also interested to notice the shop front for a photographer with the sign F Talbot. Maybe they enticed old Fox to Crich! |

One of the first things you will see when you enter the Village site is the drinking fountain. |

Here we have the sweet shop and the ice cream parlour. The latter has a tram stop outside. |

The sweet shop has an old fashioned phone which still works, but they have a modern backup beside it. There are advertising hoardings from the early to middle 20th Century outside the sweet shop. |

There was a tram stop not far away. (There always was!) |

You could find both a telephone box of the time and a Police box. (Dr Who fans would undoubtedly be disappointed with the interior of this one!) |
||||||||
I wouldn't like to say what the exact purpose of the small building is. There is Belliss & Morcom Ltd Patent self lubricating engine (Birmingham) on display alongside the building. |
||||||||
This building is the Derby Assembly Rooms, which were brought to Crich and re-erected there during the 1970s. I've included a plaque unveiled by the Duke of Gloucester in 1976. |

Sheffield's Last Tram passing by the side of the Derby Assembly Rooms. |

Finally, I have included pictures of some of the occupants of the Village fish pond. |
