We exchanged our old pennies for tram tickets and rode a tram to the other end of the line and back. |

Here is a tram interior, complete with friendly driver and conductor. I used flash photography to take these two pictures, and the driver got a little worried until the conductor reassured him it was just my camera flashing. I don't think they'd want their electrical equipment to be flashing like that! |

The views to the right as we headed up the line were of cliffs. We could have walked up to the monument, but it was a cold December day and we decided that it would be very cold in the wind up there. |

We saw tantalising views of the Derbyshire countryside when we looked to the left. I suspect that during summer when the trees are in leaf that these views might not be visible at all. When they have developed the area at the far end of the tracks and allow passengers to alight there, it will probably be possible to stop and look at these views. |

When we arrived back at the tram terminus, Stephen was allowed to pose in the driver's cab. |
